Unless you’re a knifemaker you might not appreciate these babies.  But grinders are the center of a knife maker’s world.

Attachments for the Bader.  The 10” wheel is on the machine, here are the flat platen faced with ceramic glass and the indispensable Rotary Platen from Beaumont Metal Works.  I have a 5/8” small wheel too but I recommend 7/8”.

This disc grinder is made mostly out of industrial surplus - the frame parts are from a computer mainframe, the motor is from a treadmill.  The 10” disc is from Beaumont Metal Works; I found the variable speed controller on eBay.

The table is adjustable, both its angle and its distance from the disc.
